medium: robot
A Robot's Gaze consists of an animatronic eye with camera inside, a hand controller, and real-time video feed. The eye mechanism mounts to a wall, cozily inside its cardboard nest. When a person approaches the eye, they can use the hand controls to move the eye, casting the robot's gaze around the room. The live video feed is displayed at the gallery entrance, away from the person's line-of-sight.
